Decatur-Deloris Darlene Eckart, 82, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, April 04, 2015 in Symphony of Decatur.
Deloris was born October 2, 1932 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Gilbert and Marjorie Bass. She was previously employed with General Electric and Yellow Cab and was devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. Deloris loved play cards and go to bingo. She married Jack Dean Eckart Sr. He preceded her in death January 6, 2001.
Deloris leaves behind her sons Jack Dean Eckart Jr. and wife Lisa and Jim Eckart, sister Peggy Jones and husband Charles, grandson Jack Dean Eckart III, and great-grandchildren Colton, Dalton, Lilliauna, and Leland Eckart.
Deloris was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Services to celebrate Deloris’ life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Decatur.
