Delorse Irene Colter's Obituary
Delorse Irene Colter, 85, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Delorse was born December 22, 1934, in Quincy, IL to James Irvin and Marie E. (Adams) Jessup. She married Allen Colter in 1997. He passed away April 12, 2016.
She is survived by her five children, Marion Snyder, Willatina Alford, Brenda Bethel, Janet Snyder and Trease Reeves; 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bessie Abbate.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Deborah Jones; great granddaughter, Alexandria Irene McGee.
Graveside services to celebrate the life of Delorse Colter will be 1 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2020, at Graceland Cemetery.
