Denny was i of my best brothers best friend ever we done so much together it will not be the same ever always bring me something from auction he knew i would like or loading stuff from the auction always giving anything i liked
I am the general manager of Bentley Motors in Bloomington . I sold Dennis cars and motorcycle s giving him Dealership T-shirts for Dennis and his family. Dennis sent me a photo of himself and two sons on motorcycle at a gas station all wearing our T-shirts. He always stopped in to hello when he was in town, he was my best customer ever!!
RIP. May peace be with the family.
my sincerest condolences to the family, I enjoyed my many talks and visits and have lots of memories of him sitting on my deck while we chatted. god speed dear friend, you will be missed.
What a wonderful friend and committed father Dennis was. From the first time I met him at coffee at McDonald's (where the whole group enjoyed his smirks and smiles) he showed what he was all about.
He loved his sons, grandkids, family, and wife. He never got 2 minutes into a conversation without mentioning them. They came to breakfast with him all the time. He helped them get jobs, manage their lives, love their families. and laugh along through life. Dennis never pretended to be anything but what he was. He loved his hillbilly roots, his cookie jar collecting; his buying, selling, and swapping.
A year ago he showed up at coffee with three of the oddest objects I've ever scene, a glass eye, a toothpick server, and a dribble cup for winning bar bets. He loved showing off his weird finds and we loved hearing about them.
You will never be forgotten or replicated, Dennis. Thank you Dennis for all the fun. We pray we will see you again soon.
