Diane Bandy's Obituary
Diane Bandy, 77, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017, at McKinley Court.
Diane was born June 4, 1940, in Decatur, to Harold Gale and Betty Ann (Rucker) Rhodes. She married Robert K. Bandy on June 15, 1959, in Decatur. He passed away August 18, 2016. Diane received her Master’s degree in Psychology and was a Professional Counselor for Macon Resources, volunteered for the Red Cross, Counseled for Growing Strong and was a Grief Counselor. Diane was an avid Raggedy Ann and Andy Collector, Cubs Fan and absolutely loved animals.
She is survived by her son, Anthony (Kristina) Bandy of Decatur; five grandchildren, Beau Kallenbach, Jade Kallenbach, Erykah Bandy, Clayten Bandy and Adonnis Bandy; and her son-in-law, Leon Kallenbach of Blue Mound.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and her daughter, Robin D. Kallenbach.
Honoring Diane Bandy’s wishes, cremation services will be provided by the Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 2091 N. Oakland Ave. Decatur, IL. No services are planned at this time.
