I first met Dee as a neighbor and assisted in getting her out of her home and into a nursing home. We became friends and I always enjoyed our conversations. She recalled a dream I had of her being healed and walking and reminded me of that every visit.. I now realize she IS WALKING and DANCING in heaven…I missed hearing about Dee's passing and am struggling with feelings as I had planned to go visit and take her our Christmas card, a Pepsi, and some chocolate. Things we always enjoyed sharing.Rest in Peace dear Dee and DANCE with the angels!!! I love you friend!Ann Rohde

MY mother was in the same room as Dee in 2000 till 2003 when she died. Dee always had a smile for everyone she came in contact with. My mother could be a problem some times but Dee always looked out for her. When my husband would visit Dee and him liked to exchange jokes. Dee was such a nice friendly joy to be around. I'm sure God will appreciate her and will bless her. Our loss is his gain. Shirley Kilzer

I have gotten to know Dee by volunteering at Fair Havens over the years. She has become a precious friend & is a dear sister-in-Christ. She was always listening to Christian programs on the radio & TV. She shared a lot with me, we prayed together & she was always teasing me about my husband, who is a hunter, asking if he had killed Bambi yet. Her prayer was that this year she would be healed. I've had many dreams about her rising out of that bed & walking. Our dreams have come true…she is now walking, leaping & praising God! I've only met one daughter but she is certainly an image of her mother in this picture. Our prayers are with you all. She will be greatly missed but we can all look forward to dancing with her in Heaven. Eleanor Walker

My condolence to Dee's family. I first met Dee in senior class of high school.and we were in office occupations class. She worked at Staley's and I worked at Newmans. Then I was able to visit her through the years at Fair Havens and the thing I remember about her, even though she was in the condition she was in, she always had a big smile on her face and her eyes would light up when she saw me.
