Donald L. Couch, 93, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023, in his home with friends and family at his side. Don was born July 28, 1929, the first of three sons, to Oza Lee and Lorelda Couch. He graduated from St. Teresa Read Obituary
Uncle Don was such an amazing person a great business man and looked fantastic in his suits. What a remarkable life. I have the best memories of our yearly summer visits. Going to the Four Seasons for some shopping and taking in how beautiful the store was decorated. The parties at the Couch residence with Don behind the bar. Also swimming in the big pool at the Country Club and driving there in the Rolls. Don always seemed happy in whatever he was doing. He will be deeply missed. With Sympathy, Mary Ann Fleckenstein
Don and Theresa were gems to our neighborhood. Many of os have attended the Sunday brunch with them at the Decatur Country Club. When we first got to know Don, my husband said, he’s like a Jack Benny with all that wit! Don was so happy to be in his home with furnishings from their travels and so proud of his Rolls and Bentley.
Don and Theresa were dedicated to their store, Four Seasons, worked there 7 days a week.
