Donald Jackson, Jr., 46, of Decatur, IL passed away February 15, 2021 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Donald was born March 10, 1974 in East St. Louis, IL.
Donald was a Semi Professional Wrestler and wrestled under the name of “The Mississippi Madman”. Donald also developed a tag team with his best friend, KC Jackson. Together they were known as “The Money Makin’ Jam Boyz”.
Donald was a collector of comic books and wrestling action figures. He was an enthusiast of martial arts movies. He further enjoyed playing video games, with basketball and football being his favorite. Donald was a graduate of MacArthur High School.
Surviving are his children, Mariah Jackson of Springfield, IL, Tyrese Jackson of Decatur, IL, Samii Burkholder (Andrew) of Springfield, IL, Paula Winchester of Bloomington, IN; siblings, Joseph Brown (Michelle) of Murphysboro, TN, Lee Andre Brown (Pamela Holmes) of Bloomington, IL, David Brown (Tammy) of Bloomington, IL, Sheila Brown of Decatur, IL, Marvin Jackson of Decatur, IL, Fred Jackson of Decatur, IL, Phillis Jackson (Steve Conliffe) of Decatur, IL; nephew, Lee Andre “Manzie” Brown, a host of nieces and nephews, and best friend, Kareem Cooper.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Aaron Brown.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friday, February 26, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
