Donald Clark Karr's Obituary
Decatur- Donald Clark Karr, 81, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 in Fair Havens Christian Home.
Donald was born March 28, 1933 in Decatur, IL, the son of Charles and Esta (Perkins) Karr.
Donald proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, and later he worked as a switchman for the Illinois Central Railroad. Donald loved the outdoors. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, or working out in his garden. He married Audrey Bridges on February 6, 1965 in Decatur. She preceded him in death on March 16, 2004.
Donald leaves behind his brothers, Harold (Doris) Karr of Decatur, IL; Charles H. (Mary) Karr of Spokane, WA; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey; parents; brother, Paul Karr; and sisters, Charlene Swanson; Marie Levy; and Violet Decrevel.
A graveside service to celebrate Donald’s life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in Graceland Cemetery.
