When our family visited once, my son Boomer was interested in ghosts from a book he was reading. In the book a haunted cemetery was named in Decateur. i asked Don about the cemetery. He took us to the cemetery and we were able to learn the history by asking a worker. Don was a very friendly and willing to be a good host. He had to be careful because his knee was giving him issues. Even so we walked all over looking for the location mentioned in the book. He was also willing to help out with this adventure and show us some of the old homes in the Decateur area. He loved to show off his train set and my son's loved to watch the trains. He and his wife were my late wife's favorite aunt and uncle. I loved how you always accepted me into the family. I loved your sense of humor and huge smile. I enjoyed the time you came out to Utah and hooked up your trailer to our house and visited with us for a few days. thank you for being a great example to my family and your niece, my late wife kathy. You took care of kathy's dog pooch for her while she was over seas, kathy also bought your old tent trailer. you said if you had known how much use you would have got out of it you would have charged more. I am so sorry to hear of your passing, but am so happy you have your hearing back and the ability associate with Walt , Shirley , David and Kathy as well as your parents too. I will miss not being able to come and have you share your latest adventures.
