Donald E. Meador's Obituary
Decatur-Donald E. Meador, 68, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Donald was born April 15, 1947, in Decatur, IL, the son of Paul and Ruth Meador. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Donald enjoyed being outdoors, and he liked working in the yard and fishing. He also liked watching sports in his spare time, particularly the Chicago Bears. Donald married Carlotta Boliek on July 3, 1969, in Union City, TN, and they shared 41 wonderful years together. Carlotta preceded him in death on May 27, 2011 in Decatur.
Donald leaves behind his daughter, Mindi Glass of Decatur; grandchildren, Romeo and Chauncy Glass of Decatur; and great-grandchild, Bentlee Glass.
He is preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Honoring Donald’s wishes, cremation services will be provided by Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
