So sorry to hear about the passing of "Grandpa Pete". What a wonderful man – he loved his family so much and I know you will all miss him greatly. I just received a note from him at Christmas time and was hoping he was well. I hope he did not suffer. I will remember him fondly – he was so good to me. The rain came down steadily as the thunder rolled in the distance like the memory of an artillery barrage unleashed in a battle fought long ago.
