Coach Wachter was one of the instrumental individuals in my life. He was one of the teachers/coaches who gave me the impetus to go to college and pursue my goal of teaching and coaching at the junior high level. I never saw him when he didn't have a smile and a kind word for me. He was a good guy. The family has my deepest condolences at this sad time.
