Donald Eugene Webb, 64, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at his home. Donald was born December 3, 1951, in Decatur, to Virgil Lyle and Frances Brella (Mulvihill) Webb. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Don Read Obituary
OMG I'm pretty sure that this is the Donny Webb I knew when I was about 16. I'm 57 now. He had a wife named Beverly and a cousin? named Dave Loyd. My name is Russ Walser and I've ALWAYS wanted to see this guy again. I was told years ago by someone that he had passed a long time ago, and I had given up ever getting to see him. Donny was one of the nicest guys I ever met. His cousin Dave Loyd and I, would come over often to his little house on Grand St and listen to him play guitar and tell us stories of his life. He gave me guitar lessons and a fondness for the Allman Brothers (especially Duane) that still endures today. I am so very sorry for your loss. He may be gone, but will NEVER be forgotten.
