Donna L. Brandeberry's Obituary
Donna L. Brandeberry, 75, of Decatur, IL went to be with her Lord on September 27, 2020 at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
Donna was born June 19, 1945 in Decatur, the daughter of Coy and Eloise Pritts Bobbitt. She married Daniel L. Brandeberry on January 24, 1965 in Decatur. Daniel passed away on January 1, 2014. Donna leaves behind her children: Daniel (Jennifer) Brandeberry of Crawfordsville, IN; Dianna (Mark) Brown of Boody, IL; and Douglas (Krista) Brandeberry of Decatur; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers: Terry Bobbitt, Richard Bobbitt, and Michael Bobbitt of Decatur; Sister: Kathy Butler of Decatur; Brother-in-law: John (Maggie) Brandeberry of WY. Donna was preceded in death by her parents.
Donna was a graduate of MacArthur High School in Decatur. She was the deli manager at Jewel for many years. She was a long-time member of South Shores Christian Church in Decatur, where she was active in the church choir and women’s group.
Services to celebrate Donna’s life will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday (Oct 1, 2020) at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Donna will be laid to rest in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Shores Christian Church or Alzheimer’s Association. CDC guidelines will be followed with temperature screenings, and face masks for those in attendance.
