Donna Ray Cohen's Obituary
Decatur – Donna R. Cohen, 63, of Decatur, IL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 18, 2020, in Springfield, IL.
Donna was born September 4, 1956, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Raymond and Peggy (Frazier) Newsom. Donna loved going to the casino and playing bingo. She married Alvin Cohen on August 21, 2007, in Laughlin, NV.
Surviving are her husband, Alvin of Decatur; children: Dawn Cripe of Texarkana, AR, Jason Cripe of St. Louis, MO, and J.D. Cripe of Decatur; sister, Dee (husband, J.C.) Wilkerson, and brother Darrin “Smokey” (wife, Amy) Newsom.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 25, 2020, from 11 am until the service time of 1 pm at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery. Please join the family at Whit’s End, Decatur, immediately following the burial to continue to celebrate her life.
