Donna Jean Duff's Obituary
Donna Jean Duff, 74, of Decatur, passed away July 31, 2022 at the Loft Rehabilitation Center of Decatur.
Donna was born in Ferriday, Louisiana on March 26, 1948, the daughter of Harold and Shirley (Sprague) Coppenbarger. She married Royce Duff on November 26, 1966 in St. Elmo, Illinois. She loved taking care of her family, especially by cooking and baking for them. She and Royce teamed up to drive trucks for several years after the children were grown. Donna was a member of the Warrensburg United Methodist Church and the Decatur Family Y, where she participated in Spin for Parkinsons and Parkinsons on the Move.
Donna is survived by her husband Royce; children Kevin (Stephanie) Duff of Riverton, Illinois, Brian (Mandy) Duff of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Matthew Duff of Rochester, Illinois; sisters Mary Sperry and Judy York; grandchildren April, Dominique, Benjamin (“Ben”), and Adam (“AJ”); and great-grandchild Hogan. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Fred Coppenbarger, and parents-in-law Donald and Isobel Duff.
Visitation for Donna will be from 5 to 7pm on Thursday, August 4 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Friday, August 5 at Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Warrensburg United Methodist Church or the Parkinsons Association. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
