Donna Lou Hood's Obituary
Donna Lou Hood, 77, of Warrensburg, Illinois, passed away May 2, 2025, in Shelbyville Healthcare and Senior Living Center.
Donna was born in Belvidere, Illinois, on September 25, 1947, the daughter of Charles and Avril (Naab) Baldock. She married Michael “Al” Hood on September 22, 1967, in Decatur, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 2023. She worked for Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home, where she was an outstanding member of the Family Service Team. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening and dancing to country music, attending car shows, and shopping.
Donna is survived by her sons Jeff (Tracy) Hood and Craig Hood; and siblings Barbara Feldpouch, Bill Baldock, Ann (Bob) Barnes, Carol (Kenny) Smart, and Iris (Marion) Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Teddy Baldock and Sammy Baldock.
Funeral services for Donna will be held on Thursday, May 8, at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am and will be followed by a service at 11am. Burial in Harristown Cemetery will follow the service. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
