Donna Jean Williams' Obituary
Decatur- Donna Jean Williams, 82, of Moweaqua, formerly of Decatur, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur.
Donna was born January 2, 1932, in Hindsboro, IL to Donald and Edna (Childress) Reynolds. She married Virgil Williams on September 11, 1949, and they had 64 wonderful years of marriage. He passed on November 17, 2013. Donna loved her family activities.
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Mark) Pieske, Pam (George) Arndt, Ginny (Bill) Brocksmith all of Decatur, Gary (Judy) Williams of Shelbyville; 8 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren. 9 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild expected in May; one brother, John (Charlotte) Reynolds of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Virgil; two brothers, Ed and Bill; two sisters, Daisy and Sue and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Donna Jean Williams will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with the Pastor Donald Horath of Hillside Bethel Tabernacle, Officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Moweaqua Nursing and Retirement Center.
