Nelda, I was thinking of you during the funeral and wished you were there. I never knew the details of the photo. Thank you. Sandy Carr Smarsh

To the best mom in the whole world – you will never be forgotten – love you more than the world – this world will never be the same without my best friend! You were the bravest person I have ever met! No more suffering ! Fly high sweet angel!
To the Carr family. This is Susan Keller that lived just down the block from you all.Your mother was such a wonderful person. One of the best memories is eating lunch at your house and eating macaroni and tomatoes….Still think of her when I eat them.I just saw this or I would of been at the funeral.I got to see your mother and father at my mom's funeral,(Evelyn)…Your dad Paul used to have his bottle of coke every night when he came home from work.Suzanne and I used to clean the basement for a nickel a piece and then go down to Vilmure;s and spend it.Do any of you remember when my mom helped your parents kill and clean chickens? And Susanne and I used to sit in your dad's boat and sing songs…Or how about Sandy using orange juice cans as rollers because she wanted straighter hair…Pam and Johnnie you 2 were so sweet..I have so many great memories with you family growing up that I could go on and on.Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your lives..Evelyn was a very special friend of your mothers…Now they are in heaven connected again.I am so sorry that I did not get to meet with you all again.Prayers to all..Susan Keller Tibbs.
Going to a parade downtown Decatur and Doris taking her little sister, Linda along. the whole neighborhood enjoyed &remembered their dog, Duchess. We just lived a half block apart growing up, and benefitted from the girls club, with all the advice from the older girls. Such fun and memories with Doris going to Nelson Beach. I will miss you. Doris was a very special lady. We just loved her. She was a joy to have around and will be deeply missed. She had a special place in her heart for Brynn, as Brynn had for her. I (Nancy) am unable to attend tomorrow due to a hospital visit, but know i will be thinking about all of you. Sending Prayers to all her family… Til we meet again Doris… Nancy P. & Brynn S.
