Doris A. Dunn's Obituary
Decatur-Doris A. Dunn, 88, formerly of Decatur, passed away peacefully Monday, June 7, 2010 in Murray, Kentucky.
Services to celebrate Doris' life will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2010 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
Doris was born July 2, 1921 in Decatur, the daughter of Lawrence and Helen Ditmeyer. She married John Dunn in 1955. She was employed as a pharmacy assistant and bookkeeper at Walgreens for many years. She was a member of Immanual Lutheran Church in Murray, Kentucky.
She leaves behind her husband John, sons Larry Bailey and wife Donna of Cullman, Alabama; John D. Dunn of Grand Rapids, Michigan; daughter Carol Campbell and husband Bob of Decatur; stepdaughter Delores Dunn of Lakeside, California; grandchildren; Dawn Cleveland, Tammy White, Michael Frahlman, Lori Wallen, five great-grandchildren, and special niece Sandra Zeeb.
She was reunited in heaven with her parents, two sisters and son-in-law Mark Frahlman.
Her love for life and for her family will be greatly missed.
