Decatur-Doris A. Knight, 70, of Decatur, passed away at 1:38 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009 at St. Mary’s Hospital with her family by her side. Services to celebrate Doris’ life will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2009 at Graceland/F Read Obituary
Doris was one of the best friends I'll ever have. Always loving, never condemning; I aspire to have a more loving spirit, as she did. We had some wonderful times together and she has always been a faithful friend. She will be sorely missed.
I enjoyed working with Doris at Hi-Stat. Doris was and is a very sweet person and will be missed by a good number of people. I know she is in a better place now.
I am so sorry for your loss. I loved Doris very much. I worked with her at Hi Stat and was inspired by her loving ways and courage. She always had a smile and an encouraging word for everyone. I can tell you that she is sitting at the feet of Jesus. She will be misssed by all that knew her.I pray for the family and friends she left behind.God bless her children and comfort them Lord.
