Decatur-Dorothy Jane Davis Gould, 86, of Weslaco Texas, formerly of Decatur, Ill. passed away on March 14, 2009.
Memorial Service will be at John Knox Village, Weslaco Texas on Wednesday, March 18th at 2pm in the Chapel. Entombment at a later date will be at the Star of Hope Mausoleum in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Cards may be sent to: Red Gould 1300 Border #172, Weslaco Texas, 78596. Dorothy was born on April 22nd, 1922 in Decatur, daughter of W. Lyle and Helen Mae Davis. She married Roy W. Gould on April 8th, 1944. This year they would have celebrated 65 years of marriage. She worked at Haines & Essicks in high school and after high school at A. E. Staley Accounting Department, and as a homemaker.
She leaves behind sons; Gary W. and wife Judy of Edgemont, Ark., David A. of Jacksonville, FL, daughter; Janet M. Vercellino and husband Pete of Decatur IL, Sister and Brother-In-Law Jacqueline and Jon Kreker of MO, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one Grandson, Brian.
