Douglas L. Brandeberry's Obituary
Douglas “Doug” L. Brandeberry passed away on September 8, 2025. Doug was born on October 25, 1972, to Daniel L. and Donna L. Brandeberry in Decatur, IL. Doug is the brother of Daniel (Jennifer) Brandeberry and Dianna (Mark) Brown.
Doug leaves behind his children, Payton (Kaleb Schuppert) Brandeberry and Jaxon Brandeberry, and his granddaughter Rosalynn Schuppert.
Doug graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1993. He worked for many years as a chef in multiple well-known Decatur restaurants, such as Carlos O’Kelly’s, Bizou, and Beach House. Doug loved sports, bowling, and playing video games. His love for the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears was the sign of a true, loyal fan. He was loved and liked by many, and he will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Donna and Daniel Brandeberry.
Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home will be providing cremation services for Douglas.
