Decatur- Dylan Sullivan, 21, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Dylan was born June 28, 1994, in Decatur, IL, the son of Martin and Marcia (Cox) Sullivan. He enjoyed basketball, taking care of people, and spending time with family. He was one-of-a-kind man with a big heart. He was dearly loved by all of his family and will be greatly missed.
Dylan leaves behind the following relatives from Decatur: Father, Martin (Kelly) Sullivan; mother, Marcia (Jim) Kelly; brothers, Trent Sullivan, Travis Cox and son (Kameron), Ryan (Sarah) Kelly and family, Jesse (Ashley) Kelly and family; sisters, Taylor and Karlie Sullivan, Jamie Kelly; grandparents, Carolyn Jones, Gary Sullivan, Charles and Brenda Cox, Carol and Bob Campbell; cousins, Craig and Patrick Sullivan, Del Ray and Delany and Carrissa Beiler, Kaylin Atwood, Tim and Austin Cox; uncles, Scott (Karla) Sullivan, Charlie Cox and family, and Jacob Cox; aunts, Deonna Cox, Kelly (Del) Beiler. Further: Careela Wikoff and son (Keyan), and Chanell Cox of Peoria; and girlfriend, Kirsten Roemer of Taylorville; a host of nieces, nephews, other aunts and uncles, and special feline, Louie.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents.
Services to celebrate Dylan’s life will be at 11a.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home, 2091 N. Oakland, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be at 10a.m., January 28, 2016, at Graceland/Fairlawn. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests any love offering be sent to the wishes of the family in care of Martin Sullivan. Family requests casual attire.
