Eddie E. Glover's Obituary
Eddie E. Glover, 89, of Decatur passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013 in McKinley Court Nursing Home.
Eddie was born on June 8, 1924 in Mt. Vernon, IL the son of Emery and Mabel (Sinks) Glover. He was a retired welder from Caterpillar Manufacturing and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Wanda Curtis on April 8, 1948 in Mt. Vernon, IL.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda; daughters Cindy Mathern (Dan) of Decatur; Rebecca Nave (Larry) of Decatur; grandchildren, Cory Daugherty (Laura) of Blue Mound; Kyle Nave (Amanda) of Decatur; Justin Nave of Decatur; Ryan Nave of Decatur; great-grandchildren, Dylan Daugherty, Trevor Dukeman, Noah Dukeman, Evan Nave, Wyatt Nave, and Landon Scharfenberg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Max Glover.
The family would like to thank the staff of McKinley Court Nursing Home for all their care of Eddie.
Graveside service celebrating the life of Eddie E. Glover will be 10 AM Friday, July 19, 2013 in Macon County Memorial Park with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. Memorials are suggested to Camp Wilson Four Square Church.
