Edith "Edie" M. Logan's Obituary
Decatur – Edith “Edie” Logan, 89, of Decatur, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022, in Imboden Creek Living Center.
A homemaker and member of New Life Tabernacle Church, Edie married Louie Logan on April 25, 1953, in Moweaqua, IL, and he preceded her in death on May 28, 2013. Also preceding her in death were her parents, son Mark Logan, many brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons: Louis Allen (Karen) Logan, Jerry (Chris) Logan, and Tim (Suzanne) Logan; daughter, Nita “Susie” (Jim) Pope; daughter-in-law, Carol Logan; grandchildren: Ryan, Allen, and Darin Logan, Matt Pope, Jamie Ingram, Kristy Logan and Kim Egbert; great grandchildren: Jarius Ingram, Jarin Ingram, Haylee Wilson, Mark Logan, Morgan Logan, Taylor Logan, Allie Logan, Adalyn Taulbee, Lynleigh Taulbee, Logan Taulbee, Devynn Egbert, and Teagan Egbert; sisters: Joann Taylor, Dolly Zerfowski, and Paulette Harper; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, October 03, 2022, from 5 to 7 pm at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Funeral service to celebrate Edie’s life will be 10 am, Tuesday, October 04, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in South Macon Township Cemetery, Macon, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
