Edna M. Scott's Obituary
Decatur-Edna M. Scott, 85, of Decatur passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 in her home.
Graveside services to celebrate Edna's life will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2012 in Fairlawn Cemetery with the 'Flight Home' Ceremony to conclude the service. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Foundation.
Edna was born February 26, 1927 in Bethany the daughter of Henry and Gertrude (Patient) Davison. She was a devoted homemaker that loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed racing. She married Virgil E. 'Pop' Scott June 12, 1946. He preceded her in death September 27, 2006.
She leaves behind her children Lynn Scott, Rick Scott and wife Katie, and Randy Scott and girlfriend Connie Bragg all of Decatur, sister Barbara Sutton of Sullivan, grandchildren Jeff Probus and wife Monica, Amy Durbin and husband Ryan, Heather Comer and husband Jason all of Decatur, Lauren Chamberlain of Chicago, and Jeff Chamberlain of Bloomington, great-grandchildren Jonathan, Jefferey, Jason, Jessica, Riley, Colton, Megan, Tyler, Zoey, Chase, and Stella, and great-great-grandson Brady.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
