Edward C. Brozio's Obituary
Decatur – Edward C. Brozio, 73, of Decatur, passed away at 9:32 am Friday, August 21, 2009 surrounded by his loving family.
Services to celebrate Edward’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, August 24, 2009 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with Pastor Wray Offermann officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Entombment with the “Flight Home” Ceremony will be held at the Star of Hope Mausoleum in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to D.M.H. Hospice or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
Edward was born October 16, 1935 in Decatur, the son of Paul and Elsie (Koshinski) Brozio. Edward retired as a Superintendent for McCartin Mechanical with over 40 years of dedicated service. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. Edward loved car cruising clubs and attended the Fun-Time Cruisers and Cruisin Roosters.
He will be sadly missed by his twin brother: Edwin (Janet) Brozio of Decatur and Donald Wayne (Elaine) Brozio of Decatur, one sister: Anna Marie Waller of Decatur, one special niece: Tonia (Craig) Jones, Sharon (Bruce) Erb, Karen (Dan) Benson, Paul (Diane) Brozio, Elsie (Mike) Welch, Cindy Brozio, Don (Ellen) Brozio, Tina (Tim) Pease, Danny (Linda) Waller, Les (Belinda) Waller, and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was reunited in Heaven with his parents and one brother: Paul Brozio, Jr.
