Eldora Virginia Rozanski's Obituary
Decatur-Eldora Virginia Rozanski, 92, of Decatur, passed away at 1:25 p.m. Monday, June 28, 2010 at Lincoln Manor Nursing Home.
Services to celebrate Eldora's life will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mound Chapel Church of God. Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
Eldora was born August 2, 1917 in Effingham Township the daughter of Aomas Glenn and Mary (Woods) Simpson. She was employed at York a division of Borg Warner retiring after twenty-eight years of service. She was a member of Mound Chapel Church of God. In her younger years she enjoyed gardening and flowers. She married Richard Wayne Rozanski October 14, 1933. He preceded her in death December 28, 1994.
She leaves behind her daughters; Arline Robinson and husband John of Brownsburg, Indiana and Sharon Maxwell and husband Lloyd of Decatur, grandchildren; Daniel Rozanski, William Rozanski, Randal Robinson, Ronald Robinson, Jean Bobier, Lisa Fore, and John Maxwell, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was reunited in heaven with her parents, husband, son; Richard G. Rozanski, sister; Ruth Singer, and brothers; Harold and Arlin Comstock.
