Eldridge Gray's Obituary
Eldridge Debois Gray was born June 26, 1968 in Decatur, Illinois to the son of Algie and Earlene Gray.
Eldridge was educated at Decatur Public Schools and was a graduate of Eisenhower High School in 1986. He then went onto join the United States Marine Corps from 1987 to 1993 as a Lance Corporal. He was employed at Walmart as the Service Manager of the Tire and Lube Department.
The love for his family was evident in Eldridge’s life. He enjoyed watching sports, playing video games, watching movies and reading. He was a true comedian to his heart and was always known to crack jokes no matter the situation. Eldridge truly had a love for music and he loved to dance. His presence, love and laughter will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Eldridge leaves to cherish fond memories: his daughter Brandi Gray, parents Algie and Earlene Gray, sister Beverly Joyner, grandchildren Jaiden Binkley, Aniyah Cotton and Niheem Woods, Nieces Desire’ Joyner and Gabriella Joyner. Best friends Rodney Moore, Tony Jones, and Antonio "Chubby" Brown, and special Friends Candace Gray and Sherice Joyner. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
