Eliana Sue Cambruzzi's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Eliana Sue Cambruzzi
With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our precious daughter, Eliana Sue Cambruzzi, on July 2, 2026. Though her time with us was far too short, the love and joy she brought into the lives of those who knew her will remain forever.
Eliana was born on April 18, 2026, at Decatur Memorial Hospital to her loving parents, Alyssa Chandler and John Cambruzzi III. From the moment she entered the world, she filled every room with happiness. Her beautiful smiles, contagious giggles, warm cuddles, and joyful spirit brought immeasurable love to her family. She was deeply cherished every day of her life and will be missed beyond words.
Eliana is survived by her devoted parents, Alyssa Chandler and John Cambruzzi III; her loyal fur sister, Raven Tate; and many grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who are more like family. She was surrounded by an abundance of love throughout her life, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
While we struggle to understand why such a beautiful life was taken so soon, we find comfort in knowing that Eliana’s love and light will never fade. She leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories in just a few short months—a reminder that the smallest hands can leave the biggest imprint on our hearts.
A funeral service for Eliana will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home in Decatur, IL, with visitation held one hour prior. A celebration of Eliana’s beautiful life will follow starting at 2:00pm at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 99 located at 3920 N Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Decatur, IL 62526. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate the joy she brought into the world. We invite you to wear pink as we honor our precious baby girl.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society of Decatur and Macon County in Eliana’s name.
Though our arms are empty, our hearts will forever hold our sweet Eliana. She will be loved, remembered, and missed every single day until we meet again.
“Most people only dream of angels. We held one in our arms.”
