Elisabeth "Lissie" Barnhart (Fisher)'s Obituary
Elisabeth “Lissie” Barnhart (Fisher) peacefully passed away in her home on December 22, 2017 in Decatur, IL at the age of 59.
She was born on November 10, 1958 in Decatur, IL to her parents, Adolph and Maria Fisher. She graduated from Stephen Decatur High School in 1976. She married Mark Barnhart in 1981 and had two children. She enjoyed playing softball, swimming, and spending time with her family. Most of all she was a great listener and had a genuine love for everyone in her life.
She is survived by her mother, Maria Fisher; her husband, Mark Barnhart; daughter and son-in-law, Maggie and James Howley of Decatur, IL and her granddaughters Mya and Julia Howley; her son, Adam Barnhart and her granddaughters Everly and Sutton Barnhart; her siblings James Fisher (Rita), Dorthy Jansen (Dave), Ruthie Weatherford (Dennis), Anna Stevens (Doug), and Michael Fisher (Sherry); and 9 nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Adolph; and her brother, John.
There will be a memorial service on December 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home, and a Celebration of Life directly following at St. Thomas in Angela Hall 12PM-3PM.
