Elizabeth Lewis' Obituary
Decatur-Elizabeth “Betty” Lewis, 75, of Decatur, passed away at 7:23 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009 in her residence.

Betty was born November 7, 1933 in Century, West Virginia the daughter of Primo and Mary (Wilson) Endrizzi. She was a retired factory worker. Betty was a member of the Moose Lodge where she was very active and served on many boards. She was a volunteer at the Salvation Army. She was an avid bowler who won city, state, and regional championships. Betty was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed taking bus trips through the Senior Center.
She leaves behind her son; Donnie Lewis of Decatur, grandson; Gage Lewis of Champaign, brother; Joseph Endrizzi of Seattle, Washington, sisters; Edna Stout and husband Benjamin of Dunbar, WV and Peggy Underwood of Sullivan, best friends; Ruby Miller and Marsha Peters and her beloved dog Rockie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, longtime companion Eugene Bergen, two brothers, and twelve sisters.
Betty had a very full and happy life and will be deeply missed.
The family would especially like to thank Dr. Keith Smith, Dr. Howard Wiarada, and the station 4 staff at Fair Havens Christian Home for the care and compassion they showed Betty during her illness.
