Elizabeth Pressley's Obituary
Elizabeth H. Pressley, 90, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Fair Havens Christian Home in Decatur.
Elizabeth was born September 22, 1923 in Bement, IL to Alvan and Geneva (Dove) Fritz. She married Leo D. Pressley, Jr. on May 25, 1946 in Decatur. He passed away September 26, 1995.
She is survived by her four children, David (Sharon) Pressley, Jerry Pressley, Susan Peckham and Connie (Don) Jones all of Decatur; two brothers, Russell Fritz and Stanley Fritz, both of Decatur; two sisters, Irma Miller of Monticello and Jane Reynolds of Decatur; fifteen grandchildren; twenty six great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo; her son, Mark Pressley; one brother, Al Fritz and three sisters, Margaret Alexander, Dorothy Wiggins and Phyllis Griefer.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home in Decatur. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, September 22 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Decatur. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to New Life Pregnancy or Donor’s Choice.
