Elizabeth May Price's Obituary
Elizabeth May Price, 65, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Elizabeth was born March 5, 1949 in Decatur to Jacob and Pheobe (Pfeifer) McClellan.
Elizabeth leaves behind four children, Keith Bobbitt of Pensacola, Florida, Michael (Rebecca) Wilhelm of Decatur, Wanda (Willie) Helm of Decatur and Stephanie (John) Smith of Decatur; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; five brothers, John Diggs, Sr., Phil (Carrie) Diggs, Ralph Diggs, Ronnie (Angel) Pfeifer and George Diggs II all of Decatur; two sisters, Shirley Bauman of Creve Coeur and Brenda (Larry) Culp of Delavan; step-mother, Ruth McClellan of Pekin and several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.
Elizabeth worked for the Herald and Review paper company delivering newspapers for 25 years. She loved to play bingo, crochet, play on her computer and spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents; step-father, Ronald Pfeifer; son, Anthony “Tony” Wilhelm and brother, Jake McClellan.
The family would like to say a very big thank you to the staff at Decatur Memorial Hospital in the ICU unit that showed and took wonderful care of Elizabeth while she was there.
Graveside services to celebrate the life of Elizabeth Price will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 at Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the family.
