Lefringhouse, Elly Lee's Obituary
Elly Lee Lefringhouse, 72, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away November 11, 2024, in her home.
Elly was born in Decatur on January 13, 1952, the daughter of Charles and Juanita (Atchason) Lefringhouse. She was an accomplished seamstress in a garment factory. She also worked as a desk clerk, welcoming many railroaders at the Imperial Hotel in Decatur. She was a devoted sister to Larita and a loving caretaker for her family, including her beloved cat Blackjack. In her later years, she enjoyed watching television.
Elly is survived by her sister Larita (Carl) Loveall of Decatur and her nephew Tyler Loveall, also of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Cremation services will be provided by Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home, in honor of Elly’s wishes. Private burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery.
