Elpha Roller's Obituary
Elpha Rosabelle Roller “Rosie”, 89, of Springfield slipped away on Sunday, September 8, 2013 in Decatur Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving and caring daughters.
Rosie was born in Sabetha, KS on June 12, 1924 daughter of the late Lewis Edward and Maude (Jones) Plank.
Elpha was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of almost 60 years, Paul, three sisters, and one brother. She loved her family, and lived to make their lives happy and comfortable. Her home was one in which her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was honored.
Surviving are her, daughters, Sheila Roberts and husband Jim of Arkansas; Lynda Moyer and husband Scott of Decatur. She is also survived by one sister, Lora “Ileta” McDonald of Knightstown, IN; and grandsons, Nathanael P. Moyer, Todd D. Roberts, and James “Chad” Roberts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate Elpha’s life will be 10 AM Friday, September 13, 2013 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
