Emily Sue (Myers) Wallace's Obituary
Florida – Emily Sue (Myers) Wallace, 74, of Ocklawaha, FL, formerly of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Oakhurst Center in Ocala, FL.
Emily was born December 17, 1941, in Proctorville, OH, to Elmer and Irma Hennington. She was a member of Oxford Assembly of God and worked as a legal and medical secretary retiring from MRMC in 2006. Emily enjoyed golf and spending time with family and friends. She married James Edward Myers in 1962 and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents and sisters: Mary Kennedy and Betty Evans.
Emily is survived by her husband of 14 years, Gregory T. Wallace of Ocklawaha, FL; son, Scott Myers of Decatur; brothers: Jim Hennington of Decatur and Bud Hennington of AR; sisters: Norma Kinney of Decatur and Debbie Thomas of Mason City; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services to celebrate Emily’s life will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 23, 2016 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
