Dear Larry,Marsha and Major Jason Warnick,Aunt Esther was my Mother, Hattie Sowa'ssister. We visited her in 2008 when all the Sowa's were gathered for a re-union!She was so glad to see us, as we were wth her.She was in Hattie and Gus's wedding, and I brought her a copy of that wedding Party, and she loved it!She was a wonderful Lady, and I loved her very much.My sympathies for all of you , and pray for comfort and peace!Love and prayers,Aunt Donna (Sowa) Miller
I had the honor of meeting Esther the first day she came to Fair Havens Christian Homes as this was also my first day that I became her chaplain. Since then we became close friends and when I had to leave August 14, 2011 it was one of the saddest days of my life as I was saying good by to Esther. I miss her and was sorry but also glad to hear of her going home to Heaven to be with her heavenly Father.I pray that God feels you with His peace, comfort, joy and love as you deal with the lost of Esther.Chaplain Joe
I knew Esther through my uncle, Delmar(Lefty) Jordan. He worked with Esther for many years at GE. Then when he had to go to a nursing home, he and Esther rekindled their friendship. Esther was a very sweet and caring person. I enjoyed visiting with her when I went to see my uncle. May God be with all of her family in this sad time. God speed, Esther.
