My husband and I were both saddened by Gene's passing. We both worked with Gene in 29 Building at Staleys..Gene always had a story to tell us and he always had me laughing so hard!! He was a one of a kind type of guy and the earth will miss his presence. I Pray That Our Heavenly Father Wraps His Loving Arms Around You All And Gives You All His Peace....

I adopted Gene as my dad and Linda as my mother. They were neighbors of ours and a bright spot in our lives. I remember Gene loved his ice cream and when he wanted it he would raise his voice and for Linda to hear his demand "Cream,Cream" he'd yell and Linda would tell him she'd get it and to stop yelling! It always made me crack up! They were such a kind loving couple and I always walked away with a smile when I visited them. They were a blessing in our neighborhood and I cried when they moved. Their Love for each other shined everyday. Their Love for Jesus was a blessing to everyone they saw. I will always miss Gene and I will always be thankful for his friendship.
