Evelyn M. Coleman's Obituary
Decatur-Evelyn M. Coleman, 62, of Decatur, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 at Fair Havens Christian Home.
Evelyn was born June 10, 1952 in Decatur, the daughter of Forrest and Jean (Mann) Coleman Sr. She was a life-long resident of Decatur, where she worked at various times as a security guard and packer for a moving company. After transplanting flowers from her mother’s residence she found even more comfort with the outdoors. Evelyn enjoyed household and antique auctions, flea markets, and garage sales. Her pastimes included reading, working in puzzle books, and bingo.
Evelyn leaves behind her son Kristopher, significant other Dan Martin, brother Forrest “Bud” Coleman Jr and wife Verna, and sister Judy Tatham and husband Vern.
She took great pride in her son Kris and enjoyed the company of Dan.
Private family services will be held.
