I was a friend of Evelyn's all through school — Roach, Johns Hill and Decatur High. I never saw her without a smile on her face. She was a wonderful, friendly person. Since I don't live in Decatur any longer,I only saw her at class reunions but she will be missed.
We will certainly miss Evelyn and her fun loving personality. We enjoyed many years of boating and partying with her in the boat club and on river trips. She loved to be on the water and in the water, skiing, swimming, etc. Evelyn was a stranger to no one and loved animals. Goodbye dear friend!
Evelyn,You were a truly amazing woman who had endless stories of your past that I always enjoyed listening to. I have missed them dearly as they did bring light to some very dark days. Rest in peace my dear friend.
