Faye Evelyn Lestrade's Obituary
Faye Evelyn Lestrade, 77, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, in Decatur, IL. Faye was born on February 16, 1948, the daughter of William Gene and Alta Leota (Ennis) Price.
Faye worked for many years as an assistant professor at Truman College in Chicago, IL. She was a devoted member of St. Peter’s AME Church in Decatur, where she where she was a faithful member of the choir. Faye often volunteered, including offering her services at the local food pantry.
Faye is survived by her son Justin Lestrade of St. Louis, MO; sisters Jay Rutha Brown and Jill Brown; and extended family members.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents William and Alta Price.
