Fern was the first neighbor that I met when I bought my first house. She was, also, the first Christmas card that I addressed every year. I was lucky to live next door to such a kind lady. I remember the Aderman's getting dressed up to go square dancing and slices of homeade apple pie she would bring over.
I want to share my love and deep condolences with Shelley, Keither, Dwight and the entire family at the passing of your mom. I have so many memories of you guys at school, church, being invited to Vandalia, and the house at the end of the block. Iremember your mom as smiling when she welcomed me to the house. Fern and I would visit at reunions of the Adermann family and for a short while we had a correspondence going on about family history. Fern gave me copies of the book about her mother as well as her "Family Stories" which I very much appreciated. She also attended a meeting of my Writers' Group; wish she could have come to more.My mother, Mary Joan Adermann Tirpak, and I send our condolences to the family. May God grant eternal rest to Fern and be with you, her family, in your time of need.

Lots of good memories of Fern when I was growing up. She is a very special lady to me and Jim. Lots of good times at her house and with her family.
