Frances M. Winters' Obituary
Decatur – Frances M. Winters, 82, of Decatur, passed away at 10:45 pm Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Frances’ life will be held at 10 am Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with Father Rick Weltin, presider. Entombment with the “Flight Home” ceremony will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum in Graceland Cemetery. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with these arrangements. Frances was born May 14, 1926 in Decatur, the daughter of Andrew J. and Martha (Daniels) McGrath. She married Robert E. Kinnaird on April 23, 1948 in Decatur. He passed away on October 18, 1954 in Decatur. She married Stanley V. Winters on November 23, 1979 in Mayville, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2000.
She leaves behind her two sons: Dave (Valerie) Kinnaird of Charleston, and Doug Kinnaird of Decatur, two grandchildren: Steve Craig and Brian Craig.
She was reunited in heaven with her one brother: Jack McGrath, two sisters: Irene Wrigley and Sister Martin DePorres.
