Frank William Harrison's Obituary
Frank William Harrison, 58, of Oreana, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Frank was born in Decatur on September 4, 1963, the son of Vickie D. Beyers. He worked as an operator at ADM’s East Plant. He was an avid woodworker whose skills were evident in the beautiful cribs he created for his grandchildren. Frank also enjoyed mowing and other yard work. He loved animals of all kinds, especially his dogs Mini and Scarlett. He married Michelle Jordan on December 31, 1983.
Frank is survived by his wife Michelle; children Erin (Zach) Havron of Peoria and Heath (Victoria) Harrison of Indianapolis, IN; siblings Hope (Randy) Hudson, Lori (Tyce Mahannah) Robertson, and Rick (Allison) Beyers; grandchildren Maisie and Scout Havron; mother-in-law Sandra Jordan of Decatur; brother-in-law Michael (Stephanie) Jordan of Birmingham, Alabama; aunts and uncles Dort Campbell, Marilyn Hensen, Sharon Bilbery, Shirley (Jim) Nash, Jerome (DeeDee) Shafer, Jim (Carole) Shafer, Delbert Jr. Shafer, and Gary Harrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Vickie and aunts and uncles Rose Isaac, Linda Trauth, Vi Cleary, Rodger Shafer, Ronald Shafer, and Delbert Leo Shafer.
Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is providing cremation services for Frank. A Celebration of Life for Frank will be held from 1-3pm on October 30 in the large pavilion at Fletcher Park (323 Fletcher Park Blvd., Mt. Zion). Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Decatur or St. Jude’s Hospital. Condolences may be left for the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
