Frankie Leon Jackson's Obituary
Frankie Leon Jackson, 86, of Moweaqua, IL formerly of Decatur, IL passed away May 21, 2023 at Moweaqua Rehabilitation Health Care.
Frankie was born August 4, 1936 in Decatur, IL, the son of Richard A and Pearl (Henry) Jackson. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Frankie married his wife, Joyce on May 5, 1971 in Decatur, IL. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
He was a Mason and a volunteer with the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
During his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering in his garage, loved playing the lottery and was a CB Radio enthusiast whose handle was “Junkman”. He also was a fan of Professional Wresting, St. Louis Cardinals and President Trump.
Surviving are his children, Lori Day (Chuck) of Ft. Myer’s, FL, Jeffery Jackson (Angela Bright) of Taylorville, IL, Sandra Davidson (Tom) of Springfield, IL, Mary Jackson of Decatur, IL; stepchildren, Tony Hall (Teri) of Decatur, IL, Terry L Hall of Decatur, IL, Louis Hall (Linda L.) of Las Vegas, NV and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 – 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
Memorials: Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
