It is hard to pick the fondest memory of such a wonderful man. There are so many great memories of our families at The Surf Club, at private gatherings, at church camp & mostly at our beloved Christ Lutheran Church. I still have the beautiful letter Fred wrote to Mom when Dad passed. I will have to say that my fondest memory is of Fred’s beautiful voice as he sang The Lords Prayer at my & Ron’s wedding nearly 55 years ago. I can still hear it in my heart. Rest in peace dear Fred, well deserved. To Lee Ann, Lori & Jimmy & rest of family, prayers for comfort as you celebrate his life.

I’m very sorry for your loss. There are so many wonderful memories of Fred, Carolyn, Lee, Jimmy & Lori. There was the Surf Club, private parties, church camp & mostly our beloved Christ Lutheran Church. His letter & card to our family when our Dad passed was beautiful & I still have it. I will always cherish his beautiful voice singing The Lords Prayer at my & Ron’s wedding soon to be 55 years ago. I can still hear it in my heart.
Rest in peace Fred & prayers for comfort for his family. With Love, Gwynne Tracy Young
