Galen K. Clark's Obituary
Argenta- Galen Clark, 59, of Argenta (formerly of Decatur), passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 in his residence with his family beside him.
Services to celebrate Galen's life will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Burial and 'Flight Home Ceremony' will take place in Boiling Springs Cemetery.
Galen was born October 6, 1953 in Decatur, IL, the son of James and Eileene (Hunter) Clark. He was previously employed with Caterpillar. He enjoyed his grandchildren, golfing with his CAT golf league, an avid Cubs fan, and also a member of the Breakfast Sertoma 'Service of Man Kind'.
He leaves behind his wife Linda 'Lyn' of Argenta, son Chad (Erin) Clark of Forsyth; daughter Heather (Dave) Torrens of Monticello; brothers Steve Clark of Tulsa, OK; Tony Clark of Decatur; sister Sue Scehnet of Mesa, AZ; and grandchildren Riley, Jackson, Addi, and Emmy, several nieces, nephews and family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Catharine Clark, brother Jim Clark, and one nephew.
Memorials may be directed to Breakfast Sertoma 'A Service of Man Kind', and The National Marfan Foundation.
