I’m a high school friend of Gary and Metta. In fact, I had the privilege of fixing up Gary and Metta for their first date. Gary was more mature than I was in high school and he would often bail me out of the jams I got in and give me fatherly advice. We remained friends all of our lives, and I shared his grief when Metta died. My heart is sad to see him go. Mike Brady, Houston, Texas
Rest in Peace our dear friend. You will surely be missed. Always in our hearts, now & forever. Love to you always. Thoughts and prayers to Garys entire family.

To the Gary Quinlan family: i am very sorry for your loss. We lost a good manand a good neighbor.
25 years ago, when we moved into our house as newlyweds, we had an idea for a mirror behind our bar. We wanted the mirror to look like a divided light window. Gary volunteered to make that vision a reality and his homemade work of art has always been very special to our family. What a talented and generous soul. We will cherish that mirror even more now that Gary has passed. Deepest sympathy to the whole family. His light will shine bright in the many hearts he touched. The Higginbothams
